Profile – Jeshika Ramchund-Moonsamy Jeshika Ramchund is a Professional Engineer employed as a Senior Engineer for the Wastewater Division at Bosch Projects (Pty) Ltd in South Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has 10 years of experience in the planning, design and implementation of water and sanitation infrastructure projects. Jeshika is passionate about the consulting engineering industry and the engineering profession. Jeshika is currently Chairperson of the Group of African Member Associations (GAMA) Young Professional’s Forum an Executive Committee member of GAMA and member of the FIDIC Conference Advisory Group. Jeshika has been actively involved with Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) since 2008. Jeshika has served CESA in the capacity of Chairperson of the Young Professional’s Forum, a Council and Board Member from 2014 to 2016. With involvement in projects focused on service delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure, Jeshika sees herself as a social engineer, working with Clients to improve the lives of the people she serves. Jeshika has delivered presentations at CESA, GAMA and FIDIC conferences and continues to enhance the role of young professionals in the Consulting Engineering space. Jeshika lives in Durban, South Africa. Jeshika has served Consulting Engineers South Africa in the capacity of Chairperson of the Young Professional’s Forum, a Council and Board Member from 2014 to 2016, and is currently Vice-Chairperson of the Group of African Member Associations (GAMA) Young Professional’s Forum, a member of CESA’s Education and Training Committee and a member of the FIDIC Young Professional’s Forum Steering Committee.
